Europe has been an experience that I will never forget. . . From SF to Texes Airport: The night before I came to Europe I went clubbing with some friends. My sister drop me off at the club and the line was like a block away...so fucking long..but then i finally got in but it was sooo that I was bumping into everyone or I could not move. But it was fun because I got the see cousin Johnny and everyone else from 76 Berkeley. Then we went to go eat around South Sf before I left to the Airport at 5am. Monique came with me on this trip to study aboard in Switzerland. So I saw her at the Airport @ 5am and we left to go to Texas Airport. It was a four hour delay flight to Switzerland so we just got something to eat and just waited for 4hours. Texes Airport to Switzerland (zurich airport): Well the flight was delay for a hour an a half, I dunno why. But i fell alseep and thinking that we are up in the air but when I looked out the window I saw people and was like wtf. But it was the longest flight ever 10 hours to get to Zurich. I seriously fell alseep like 10Xs hoping that when I wake up I was there. But finally we landed in Zurich and I finally realized that I am not in the States anymore but in Europe. Everything was in French so it was kinda hard to know what direction to go to but there was alot of English speaking people there to help us. Zurich airport to Montrox: So we took a train from Zurich to Montrox where my summer school is at. It cost us 71swissfrancs, so thats around 60us dollars, It was not that bad because seriously it was almost across the whole country. So the train ride took us another 4hours of travelling. I took some picture while I was on the train, but there is really nothing to see out there. It was miles and miles of nothing. Anyways, I fell alseep again holding my stuff, because we heard there is alot of pickpocking in Europe. Montrox train station to Gilon School: So when we got to the train station we were lost because we dont know where to go, but we saw these asian girls with bags so we know they are on the same program as us. We didnt talk to them but just follow them around to see where they are going. But they did not know where to go either so we just ask someone and found that we need to take this shuttle train up the hill to Gilon. 4swissfrances. (i´m telling you how much swissfrancs it is because during the whole stay it cost us alot of money to just go down the hill). When we got there we had to carry our shit up a small hill and then down another hill and FINALLY AFTER 24hours OF TRAVELLING WE GOT THERE! it was 3pm the next day over in Switzerland which is 6am over in California to be continue.... |
